Position InformationThe Respiratory Care Assistant (RCA) is a critical member of our team, working under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner (RCP). The RCA will be responsible for performing a range of respiratory care procedures, including oxygen supply systems, equipment processing, manual resuscitation, and patient reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be enrolled in a recognized Respiratory Care Program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care. You will also need to have basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support certifications.
Requirements- Training Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And College Courses Respiratory Therapy Required
- Respiratory Care Assistant Required - And Basic Life Support Required - And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required - And Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
This role requires a 7a-7p work schedule, with occasional weekend and evening shifts as needed.
