Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hatfield, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to coordinate, plan, and deliver quality occupational therapy services to inpatients on our West 5 unit. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Clinical Manager, Behavioral Health and operate within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and plan occupational therapy services for inpatients on the West 5 unit.
  • Deliver quality occupational therapy services to meet the needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs.
  • Provide education and training to patients and families.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • De-escalation training within 90 days from hire, as well as ongoing re-training as required.
  • Occupational therapy experience in a mental health setting, including the ability to facilitate groups.
