Optum is in search of a Full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to enhance our team. We value clinicians who prioritize patient care over sheer volume, taking the necessary time to thoroughly understand and address each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting rounds at outpatient clinics and performing wellness assessments for seniors
  • Operating within a defined regional area
  • Managing an average of 10-12 patients per day, with no direct patient panel
    • Potentially increasing to 16 patients per day with a mix of primary care
  • Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • No mandatory nights or weekends

Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted Medical License in California
  • Current DEA certificate for California prior to employment
  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
