This role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week during the academic year, with the potential to increase to 40 hours per week during the summer months. Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States, either as a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card Holder.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resources Trainee will engage in a variety of generalist and specialized functions, contributing to various projects within the human resources domain. Responsibilities include:
- Human Resources Support: Provide expertise and services in human resources, actively participating in the enhancement of HR processes.
- Organizational Development: Assist in facilitating changes that align with key business objectives.
- Recruitment Assistance: Handle administrative tasks such as creating job folders, coordinating interviews, and preparing for onboarding.
- General Office Duties: Perform tasks including filing and creating personnel files.
- Employee Engagement: Organize activities, update bulletin boards, and manage TV monitors.
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
- Must be classified as a Junior or Senior within their degree program.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
