Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent

HITT Contracting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, resource allocation plans, and quality control measures to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, address concerns, and ensure project success.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, including daily logs, punch lists, and closeout reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring open lines of communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
