Key Responsibilities- Lead and participate in the development of comprehensive plans, studies, and reports related to land use, economic development, transportation systems, and community facilities.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth and development, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement plans and programs that align with the County's strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and present reports, studies, and other documents to support planning and decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in comprehensive planning and land use management.
- Master's degree in Urban or Community Planning, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in comprehensive planning, land use management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and evaluate data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This position typically works in an office environment, with occasional travel to meetings and community events.
