LIDAR Analyst

We are seeking a talented and organized LiDAR Analyst to join our Geomatic Technologies Team.

This position involves LiDAR production support and supporting field operations for projects in environmental, municipal, oil and gas, and transportation sectors.

Your Role:

• Process LiDAR data using TopoDot, TerraScan, or other LiDAR software packages.
• Support field LiDAR acquisition projects.
• Demonstrate strong familiarity with MicroStation and/or Civil3D.
• Create, edit, and work with surfaces from topographic survey points.
• Apply strong knowledge of InRoads and Civil3D, including surfaces, points, corridors, profile, and section views.
• Travel for assignments, including multi-day fieldwork as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Survey, Geomatics, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in LiDAR data processing and 1 year of conventional surveying.
• Experience with Riegl mobile mapping systems is a plus.
• Part 107 UAS Certification is required.
• Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated, with the ability to work well both collaboratively and independently.
• Proven work history with a strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks and adjusting to changing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• General working knowledge of land survey techniques preferred.
• Experience with RTK-GPS and Total Station equipment is an advantage.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations and a physical if needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience.

Salary Range:

$125.00 hourly.
