Join Our Team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist with a focus on Skin Care Management to enhance our team at Carespring Health Care Management.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $32 to $38, plus an additional $2 for teamwork differential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive skin assessments on a weekly basis and documenting findings in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Implementing appropriate treatments and interventions for identified skin conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicating changes in resident conditions to the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Director of Nursing (DON).
  • Monitoring and reporting on non-healing wounds.
  • Updating care plans and documentation for residents with skin impairments.
  • Overseeing skin integrity practices to ensure compliance with the facility's standards.
  • Promoting infection control measures.
  • Participating in quality assurance evaluations and implementing recommendations.
  • Providing targeted interventions for at-risk residents.
  • Engaging in weekly meetings focused on skin integrity.
  • Keeping responsible parties informed about wound healing progress.
  • Fostering a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.
  • Training new and less experienced nursing aides in best practices for patient care.
Qualifications:
  • A valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • Flexibility in scheduling.
  • In-depth knowledge of the integumentary system and a commitment to ongoing education.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
