Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Solar Origination Analyst to join our team at New Columbia Solar. This individual will play a critical role in driving our company's growth by identifying and acquiring new solar customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and identify potential solar development opportunities in DC and MD
  • Develop and execute a lead generation strategy to engage with property owners and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with our Sales Development Manager to develop and pitch new lead generation ideas
  • Build relationships with community leaders and work with our marketing team to develop targeted customer engagement campaigns
  • Drive consistent engagement with a variety of potential customers across multiple business types
  • Report progress to our Sales Development Manager and Sales Operations Manager, utilizing HubSpot CRM to track work product
  • Convert leads into actionable meetings and opportunities for our Account Executives
  • Provide customers with preliminary deal structuring and ballpark economics (training will be provided)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills with attention to detail and organization
  • Positive attitude with a passion for solar energy development and a desire to help proliferate solar in Washington, DC and beyond
  • Experience in sales, real estate, and/or energy is a plus

This is a four-day a week onsite position with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
