Position Overview:
At Raytheon Technologies, we are on a mission to redefine the future of aviation through innovative engineering and cutting-edge technology. We are currently seeking a skilled Process Engineer III to join our dynamic Case Repair team within the Propulsion Systems Division.

Role Type:

This position is primarily onsite, emphasizing collaboration and hands-on involvement in our manufacturing processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and implement technical data in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with operations and quality assurance teams to develop new process plans and ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Drive process enhancements to establish a world-class repair methodology.
  • Maintain ownership of process plans and technical data expertise.
  • Facilitate communication with cross-functional teams regarding new technical data and information requests.
  • Provide support for routine technical inquiries from inspectors and machine operators.
  • Revise or create service masters and new technical repair documentation.
  • Coordinate with finance and customer service to ensure accurate repair pricing processes.
  • Design fixtures for new products and processes.
  • Complete necessary training on export jurisdiction and classification.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • An advanced degree with a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of applicable experience; or an Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A degree in a STEM field, preferably in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of shop practices and machinery.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical documents, including engine manuals and blueprints.
  • Project management skills and the capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with manufacturing execution systems, enterprise resource planning software, and design tools.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
