Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Five Guys. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of restaurant staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, team management, and customer relations.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
  • Manage cash handling and point-of-sale systems to ensure accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Collaborate with other Shift Managers and General Managers to achieve business objectives and improve restaurant performance.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
