Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Manager - Surgical Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of nurses, and contributing to the development of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, ensuring effective communication, delegation, and supervision.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve unit and departmental goals.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in surgical services, with a focus on leadership and management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments.
