Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Health and Welfare Fund Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting members with healthcare coverage and providing administrative support to the Union's Health and Welfare Fund.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members with healthcare coverage and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide administrative support to the Health and Welfare Fund, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and basic bookkeeping
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Good people skills and a desire to help others
