Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Lead Technician and Foreman to join our team at KCI Telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 6-10 technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of data center infrastructure.
  • Work with various types of cables, including twisted pair, coax, power limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, Category 5, Category 6, and single and multi-mode fiber optic cables.
  • Pull, place, terminate, test, and label cables as needed.
  • Investigate customer issues and design solutions to resolve them.
  • Order and maintain inventory of stock supplies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience leading teams in data center operations.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling installation, including pulling Cat5/6 cable, fiber optics, installing jacks (RJ45), dressing cable, and installing J-hook (cable support systems).
