Construction Electrical Project Coordinator

As a Project Coordinator at United Global Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in the development and construction of cutting-edge data centers in the support of UGT Project Managers. You will be involved in overseeing various elements of capital construction projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to specifications. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities, including timeline, resources, equipment, and information liaising with project managers and other professionals.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of project schedules and work plans to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Oversee logistics operations, ensuring all materials and equipment are timely and efficiently procured and delivered to the site.
- Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Facilitate communication between project team members, subcontractors, and other external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project specifications, goals, and responsibilities. Strong emphasis on maintaining effective lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, project schedules, budgets, and status reports.
- Coordinate logistics for site materials and machinery and ensure that all project supplies meet the project’s needs.
- Act as the point of contact for field personnel and project managers, solving issues and conflicts that may arise.
- Assist with financial processes, including invoicing, budget preparations, and the tracking of project costs.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to ensure project adherence to blueprint specifications and safety standards.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide detailed minutes and action points, ensuring clear and consistent communication across all levels of the project team.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the construction of data centers or similar large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction management processes, building regulations, safety standards, and logistics management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact with diverse stakeholder groups and manage complex stakeholder communications effectively.
- Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
