Pediatric Liver Transplant Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Pediatric Liver Transplant Program at Stanford Medicine Children's Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in the management and clinical decision-making for all pediatric liver transplant patients.
Responsibilities:- Manage outpatient liver pre- and post-transplant patients, overseeing monitoring, medication management, patient education, care coordination, and addressing complications as they arise.
- Serve as a primary provider for inpatient pediatric liver and intestinal transplant patients, participating in rounding, note-writing, and clinical decision-making with Hepatologist and Transplant Surgeon.
- Function as an APP in first or second assistant role in the operating room during pediatric transplant surgeries, including liver, intestine, combined organ, multivisceral transplants, and liver resections.
- Provide service line support for weekday and weekend shifts to ensure continuous 7-day service coverage.
- Prior experience in Pediatrics care and/or transplant medicine is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently manage patient care decisions.
- RNFA certification for NP preferred, may be required within 1 year of hire based on location.
