Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations, including performance monitoring and budget management; serve as the acting manager in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily records related to performance, sales metrics, inventory management, and equipment rentals (if applicable).
  • Recruit and train staff on POS system usage, product knowledge, customer service, sales strategies, and loss prevention protocols.
  • Evaluate team performance and conduct meaningful feedback sessions, recognizing achievements or implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, suggestions, and concerns.
  • Engage in leadership discussions to provide insights on store performance, training initiatives, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required, including specialized tasks in merchandising and rentals.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; preferred training or education in business-related fields.
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail supervision; experience in the ski industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment, managing multiple tasks and customers simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Proficiency in English communication is essential.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $25. This range reflects our reasonable expectations for compensation, which may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
