Job Overview
At New Season Treatment Centers, we are committed to providing safe, quality, and best-in-class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in our team, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore patients' health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication pursuant to physician order and record dosage administered in the medical record.
  • Conduct daily medication inventory counts and maintain absolute accuracy in daily accounting of medication.
  • Assume responsibility for safeguarding medication inventory and ensure proper disposal of medical waste.
  • Collect fees and perform daily cash reconciliation in the absence of a cashier position.
  • Receive and verify incoming medication shipments and advise necessary staff of any discrepancies.
  • Observe patient demeanor prior to dosing and seek guidance from the Medical Director or Registered Nurse when an issue or concern is noted.
  • Promptly communicate patient issues or concerns to the Medical Director or Registered Nurse for medical matters and to the Program Director for other matters.
  • Administer appropriate lab tests as required, including patient vital signs, TB tests, and collect data for review by Medical Director or RN.
  • Schedule and screen patients to be seen by the Medical Director and assist in collecting data for the history and physical as required.
  • Maintain absolute control, tracking, and confidentiality of all patient medical paperwork and comply with federal and state privacy rules.
  • Obtain and maintain proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
  • Actively participate in CARF preparation and state audit process and participate in all staff meetings.
  • Comply with all Local, State, Federal, and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations, and policies.

Requirements
  • Active nursing license in the state in which the clinic is located.
  • Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology, and general nursing knowledge.
  • Basic mathematics skills and computer literacy.
  • Minimum of 1-year direct patient contact and prior experience in the clinical environment is helpful.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with great attention to detail and accuracy in performing daily functions.

Working Conditions
  • Ability to operate in an open work area with moderate everyday noise.
  • Ability to perform other duties as required.

Mental Activities
  • Ability to resolve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and advanced mathematics ability needed to maneuver through daily medications functions and tasks.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general healthcare journals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
