Position Overview

The Store Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the retail establishment, ensuring that all managerial duties are prioritized. This role involves guiding and supervising a dedicated team, holding them accountable for delivering exceptional customer service while meeting performance targets. The leader will ensure that the store is prepared to fulfill the Customer Brand Promises and will effectively communicate workload activities and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the team for optimal execution within budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all store operations, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Achieve sales and profit objectives in alignment with annual performance goals, managing the team to meet their individual KPIs.
  • Champion the execution of customer brand commitments.
  • Implement and oversee loss prevention and safety initiatives to meet established goals.
  • Utilize company resources to set, prioritize, and communicate objectives, providing comprehensive management to team members and customers.
  • Recruit and develop a skilled team: hire, train, mentor, and coach team members to achieve desired outcomes; lead performance evaluations and, if necessary, disciplinary actions; identify and nurture talent for future advancement.
  • Foster a respectful and positive work environment, even in challenging situations; promote commitment to the organization's vision and values; serve as a role model for others.
  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as required.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all store departments; ensure cross-training among managers in key areas.

Additional Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management and leadership.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to navigate throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Occasional lifting of heavy items and accessing high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.
  • If assistance is needed to perform these functions, please consult a supervisor to explore reasonable accommodations.

Work Environment

  • Retail store setting with responsibilities for supervising team members and serving customers; public areas are climate-controlled, while some stock rooms may not be; outdoor work may be required; work hours may include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Compensation

The total base pay range for this position is $78,000 to $105,000.
