Salary Range

We are offering a competitive salary range of $35.38 - $45.49 per hour for this role, reflecting the importance of nursing expertise in our correctional facilities.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Campbell, Ohio. As a core member of our nursing staff, you will provide top-notch patient care to inmates with diverse medical needs. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively about patient status, treatment plans, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Conduct routine health checks, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor LPNs/LVNs, medical assistants, and other support staff to ensure they receive the training and guidance necessary to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing professional development through education and training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university required.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one year of professional nursing experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
  • A valid driver's license is also required.
