This strategic leadership role will oversee the development and execution of NetApp's Department of Defense business strategy. As a highly visible and collaborative leader, you will set the vision and direction for our DoD sales efforts, driving growth and revenue across the US Department of Defense.

You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your expertise in sales leadership, business development, and strategic planning will be essential in driving NetApp's success in the DoD market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the DoD market
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional results
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including DoD customers, partners, and industry leaders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development plans, driving growth and innovation in the DoD market
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to drive business growth and innovation
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the DoD market, including customer needs, pain points, and emerging trends

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership and business development, with a strong background in the DoD market
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or computer science
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in sales leadership and business development, with a strong background in the DoD market
  • 5+ years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams
  • 5+ years of experience in selling IT-related solutions in the US Public Sector, with a strong background in the DoD market
  • Proven track record of overachievement of quota and KPIs, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and results
