Job Summary

The Finance Business Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our financial systems. This position is responsible for leading projects to improve system functionality, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and serving as a subject matter expert on financial systems and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to implement system upgrades, replacements, and new applications
  • Coordinate with finance project teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Act as a subject matter expert on financial systems and business processes
  • Provide internal business and technical consulting services to department management and staff
  • Develop and maintain complex interface files for vendors and users
  • Review and recommend changes to finance-related department system processes and procedures

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on financial reporting
  • 3 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on report writing
  • 5 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on application support (preferred)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred)

Licensure/Certification

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (preferred)

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • As needed, including weekends
