Job Description:

The Construction Site Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. This position is responsible for overseeing the construction process, from pre-contract activities to post-construction completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings
  • Assist with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection
  • Develop construction schedules and manage subcontractors to meet project milestones
  • Develop and administer safety programs
  • Assist with managing equipment lead times and ordering construction-related items
  • Lead construction review meetings and provide weekly field reports to the owner
  • Assist with commissioning efforts and register applicable equipment for warranties
  • Schedule factory start-ups and ensure start-up sheets are completed and submitted as required
  • Develop O&M manuals and as-builts
Requirements:
  • Strong management and communication skills
  • Experience with construction, commissioning, and start-ups
