Job Opportunity

WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a skilled Account Executive to join its dynamic sales team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for generating revenue across various platforms, prospecting for new business partnerships, and maintaining existing accounts. If you have a passion for selling advertising, negotiating with ad agencies, and fostering new business relationships, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue across broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Prospect for and develop new business accounts.
  • Form strategic market partnerships.
  • Account maintenance and customer care for existing account list.
  • Conceptualize, create, and deliver sales proposals that are consistent with client needs and station strategies.
  • Achieve individual sales goals.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years in media or digital sales, or a similar sales field.
  • New business development experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Consultative, customer-focused approach.
  • Accountability within a goal-structured organization.
  • Team player.
  • Business-to-business sales experience.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Related military experience will be considered.
