Job Title: General Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our team at EMCOR Facilities Services. As a General Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Complete general building repairs, including painting, carpentry, and minor plumbing repairs.
  • Replace lighting components, ceiling tiles, and grid throughout the buildings and offices.
  • Maintain building lighting, parking lot lighting, and emergency lights.
  • Communicate directly with customers and managers to ensure that all aspects of a work request are understood.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4-6 years of related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
Competencies:
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to work and communicate professionally in occupied space environments.
