Key Responsibilities:
  • Install new equipment and machinery as required
  • Diagnose and repair problems with existing equipment and machinery
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs using blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
  • Maintain and repair plant and office facilities in an efficient and safe manner
  • Perform monthly preventive maintenance tasks
  • Report material and parts usage for the department
  • Follow all company safety procedures and good housekeeping practices
Requirements:
  • Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment
  • General fabrication ability
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Teamwork, strong communication, and problem-solving skills
  • At least four years' experience in an industrial environment or equivalent combination of education or training
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 55 pounds
  • Frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, lifting, walking, reaching, and stooping
  • Able to work at heights up to 50 feet
