Nursing Supervisor

Minnesota Oncology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical support operations for all nursing clinical support activities.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective nursing staff coverage plans to ensure optimal patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to determine staffing requirements and optimize resource allocation.
- Participate in the screening, interviewing, and recruiting of clinical personnel to ensure a high-performing team.
- Assist in the review and revision of clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Verify documentation to ensure proper and appropriate charges.
- Assist with annual performance evaluations for clinical staff.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules, and coordinate employee staffing, including vacations, sick leave, and overtime.
- Assist with staff training and in-services as required.
- Ensure nurses maintain all required competencies on an annual basis.
- Verify all licensing and national certification criteria are met.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
- Current MN licensure and registration required.
- Current or pending OCN certification preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong desire to learn.
- Flexibility.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong Organizational Skills.
- Self-starter.
- Strong Basic Mathematic Skills.
- Dependable.
- Detail-oriented.

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
