Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

QPS Employment Group is seeking a highly organized and efficient shipping/receiving coordinator to manage the fast-paced shipping and receiving components of our client's operation in Libertyville, IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily outbound orders and ensure timely shipment
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule shipping and resolve any issues
  • Audit and file inbound and outbound documents to maintain accurate records
  • Process orders based on customer preferences and ensure efficient delivery
  • Load and unload trailers, and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts
  • Print and sort Bills of Lading (BOLs) for every order and obtain signatures
  • Manage product orders, including receiving deliveries and distributing packages within the company
  • Schedule LTL shipments and plan logistics to ensure sufficient storage space and staff availability
  • Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for managers and maintain accurate records
  • Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints as needed
Requirements:
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Technical capacity and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to stand, walk, and reach throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
