Foundations Educational Solutions is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to serve in a school setting.

Role Purpose: The primary responsibility of the Speech Language Pathologist is to evaluate students' speech and language development, including receptive and expressive language skills, speech articulation, and social communication abilities. The goal is to identify students who may benefit from specialized educational services and support their speech language development goals.

Classification: Foundations Educational Solutions

Employment Status: Exempt

Compensation: $80,000-$85,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of students' speech and language skills to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Design and implement individualized speech-language therapy programs tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers, administrators, and families regarding speech-language development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Engage in professional development through workshops and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and treatment plans to track student progress and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Share insights and information about students and programs with various audiences, including families and educational staff.
  • Research and apply effective intervention strategies and assessment tools to meet students' goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Arizona.
  • Current Department of Education SLP license in Arizona.
  • Possess a valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Compliance with Continuing Education requirements as mandated by Arizona Department of Health Services.

Work Environment:

  • Occasional exposure to environmental factors such as dust and pollen.
  • Physical demands include frequent movement, lifting, and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must possess normal vision and hearing capabilities.
  • Noise levels may vary from moderate to high.
