Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students, and develop tailored treatment plans to address their unique needs and goals.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, aligning with Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and promoting effective communication and academic achievement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom and support students' overall development.
  • Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Regularly monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Arizona state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
