Overview

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team of board-certified pulmonologists and pulmonary specialists. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients breathe easier and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including respiratory therapy and pulmonary function testing.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote patient understanding and self-management of respiratory conditions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
  • 2 years critical care experience.
  • BLS certification required.
