Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care team at Penn State Health.

About the Role: As a Staff Nurse, RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. You will work collaboratively with the medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the NICU
  • Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and promote positive patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

About the Team: Our Neonatal Intensive Care team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to critically ill newborns. We pride ourselves on being a dynamic and supportive team that values collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
  • AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period
  • Experience working in a level IV NICU or similar setting
