Nurse Specialist

PennState Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity to work in the NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provide high-quality patient care.
Job Summary- As a Staff Nurse, RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to a designated group of patients.
- You will establish goals and priorities of nursing care and develop a written plan that includes patient education and discharge planning.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive care and make informed decisions about patient treatment.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period.
