Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry Unit, you will provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your role will involve:
  • Implementing appropriate nursing interventions and administering medications and treatments as per physician orders and established protocols.
  • Conducting thorough assessments to analyze patient conditions and determine the need for interventions.
  • Modifying care plans based on assessment data and evidence-based practices, ensuring effective patient and family education.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient care.
  • Upholding ethical standards in nursing practice, ensuring the dignity and rights of patients are preserved.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
  • An active Registered Nurse License in Kentucky or eNLC licensure with multistate privileges in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are advantageous:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Previous nursing experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Cardiac, Emergency, or Critical Care service lines.
