Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in revenue cycle management, showcasing strong analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
· Hold a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
· Possess a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare finance.
· Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of healthcare billing practices, reimbursement strategies, and compliance regulations.
· Exhibit exceptional leadership and team management abilities, fostering a high-performing work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in ophthalmology is essential, with a preference for those familiar with retina practices.
· Proficient in revenue cycle management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
· This is a remote position; however, attendance at quarterly in-person meetings is required.

Location Requirements:
· Candidates must reside in the Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill area of North Carolina or be willing to relocate.

Team Leadership:
· Proven supervisory experience leading a revenue cycle team, including billers, verification specialists, prior authorization staff, and patient liaisons, totaling approximately sixteen (16) team members.

Software Transition:
· In November, the team will transition from MDI / AMD to Nextech software.

Certifications:
· Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) is advantageous.


Essential Requirements

· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in revenue cycle management
· Ophthalmology experience is required
· Retina experience is preferred
