Lead, Demand Generation Manager

The Lead, Demand Generation Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing programs that drive demand for our products, engage targeted prospect accounts and existing customers to deliver pipeline and revenue. This role will manage a small team of digital marketing professionals and is equal parts strategy and execution. The ideal candidate should possess a strategic mindset, ability to analyze data for insights, collaboration skills, and deep experience in B2B integrated marketing campaigns.
This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing. The ideal location for this role is Raleigh, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned with the overall marketing and sales goals to drive qualified leads and pipeline growth. Innovate new approaches to market and explore untapped opportunities.
- Innovation and Experimentation: Drive a culture of innovation by encouraging new ideas, testing creative approaches, and leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to stay ahead of market trends.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Digital Campaign Management: Oversee the creation, implementation, and optimization of digital channels, including website, paid media, email, and social media.
- Ecommerce Campaign Management: Manage and grow ecommerce revenue stream with an integrated plan inclusive of proven digital channels and emerging digital channels. Build an experiment roadmap to strive for continuous improvement and conversion optimization in the store.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize analytics tools to measure, report, and analyze performance. Use data insights and innovative thinking to make strategic adjustments and optimize for maximum ROI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align on lead generation, lead scoring, and lead nurturing strategies, ensuring marketing efforts are effectively driving pipeline growth and accelerating sales cycles.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing and business objectives.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in demand generation or digital marketing in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing innovative demand generation strategies that drive significant pipeline growth and revenue, with a passion for creativity and new ideas.
- Analytical and Creative Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, think outside the box, and make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to lead, inspire, and cultivate a creative and innovative team.
- Strategic Thinking: Highly strategic, with the ability to balance short-term wins with long-term growth initiatives and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
