About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Sales Account Manager to join our team at Verizon Communications, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding business solutions to our customers, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, and lead-generation campaigns.
  • Consult with customers to understand their business challenges and recommend tailored solutions to solve them.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships to drive incremental revenue and meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with support partners to educate and excite customers about innovative business solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of wireless and mobility products, as well as integrated software solutions, to successfully promote and position products.
  • Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory, with expected travel up to approximately 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
  • Experience in technology sales and education, including SaaS sales experience, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools.
  • Strong presentation skills in a face-to-face and virtual environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals.
