Opportunity Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Supply Chain Logistics Specialist to join our team at Octapharma Plasma, Inc.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to leverage their expertise in supply chain logistics and procurement to drive business growth and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Capex budgets for IT projects, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit Capex requests, overseeing the procurement process from issuance to tracking purchases.
  • Maintain accurate records of all Capex expenditures and provide regular budget reports to stakeholders.
  • Implement inventory management processes and procedures, generating and maintaining stock reports to ensure accurate tracking of IT assets.
  • Ensure sufficient stock levels for ongoing projects and advance replacement needs, receiving, documenting, and maintaining equipment inventory for IT projects.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of IT hardware and software assets, managing hardware renewals and tracking the lifecycle of equipment to ensure timely upgrades and replacements.
  • C coordinate with IT teams to ensure proper decommissioning and disposal of obsolete assets, handling new vendor requests, and liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues related to supply chain logistics, managing and prioritizing Service tickets related to supply chain logistics, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure all logistics-related tasks are completed efficiently, assisting in logistics planning and execution for IT projects, including ordering, receiving, and inventory management of equipment.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT supply chain logistics, procurement, or a related role required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in inventory management systems and tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle management of IT assets preferred, along with excellent communication and vendor management skills required.
  • Experience with Cherwell or similar ticketing systems is preferred, as well as experience in process improvement and optimization.
  • Strong project management skills are preferred, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
