Job Summary

MBS Pro Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine control systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop machine programs to specifications, defining the specifications as needed.
  • Prepare and present detailed designs and critical technical reviews.
  • Identify and resolve system design weaknesses.
  • Assist in creating complete interface control and assembly drawings.
  • Collaborate with team members to advance technical and company culture goals.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of industrial automation equipment, including PLCs, motion control, robotics, distributed I/O, fieldbus systems, and HMI technologies.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
  • At least 7 years of industry experience, with open consideration for less experience if highly relevant.
  • Experience in mobility, automotive, conveyor, or industrial automation is a plus.
  • Strong programming proficiency, with experience in languages such as IEC, C#, C++, and Python.
  • Experience working with big data in SQL databases and cloud tools like Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a results-driven personality, strong analytical and reasoning skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
