Job Description:This is a unique opportunity to work in a mixed methods research team with a diverse range of expertise. The fellow will have the chance to work closely with the partner district, the Leon County Public Schools, Florida, and collaborate with team members on manuscripts, reports, policy briefs, and other publications.
Responsibilities:- Manage the qualitative component of the study
- Design qualitative projects and instruments
- Conduct interviews and focus groups
- Analyze qualitative data
- Present findings in national and/or state conferences and other settings
Successful applicants will have advanced qualitative training, an earned doctorate in education or a related field, and strong writing and oral presentation skills.
Other Information:The Leon County Career and Technical Education Project is a newly funded IES project at Florida State University and the University of Michigan. The study explores how schools and districts make decisions about their career and technical education programs and course offerings and the participation and outcomes of these for students.

Anticipated Salary Range:The compensation includes an annual salary of starting at $52,000, commensurate with experience, and eligibility for health insurance.
