Position OverviewThe Pediatric Respiratory Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to our young patients. This position involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for pediatric patients with complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive respiratory assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of pediatric patients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Education: Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and management strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Care; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License required; CRT and RRT certifications preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Pediatric ICU or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and physical capability to perform essential job functions.
