Job Purpose

The Administrative Staff role at American Honda Motor Co Inc is responsible for overseeing the Company Vehicle Service program and supervising General Services tasks. This is a short-term Contingent position.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Process Company Vehicle Service requests, including communication of services and invoicing.
  2. Track and maintain CVA ordering and delivery of manager vehicles.
  3. Inspect vehicles and process registrations.
  4. Support AHM Lotteries processing by entering HACI Vehicles into the AHM lottery process.
  5. Process invoices for travel tolls.
  6. Maintain CVA vehicle service records.
  7. Manage pool vehicles, including requests, approvals, and rotations.
  8. Arrange for maintenance and track costs for pool vehicles.
  9. Inspect and register pool vehicles.
  10. Maintain pool logs, service records, and recalls.
  11. Prepare CVA vehicles for VIP tours.
  12. Review off-site travel requests and provide recommendations or pool car options.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  1. Associate's degree from an accredited Community College or certification from a technical school.
  2. Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  3. Experience with SAP or SharePoint is preferred.
  4. Previous experience working with 3rd Party Suppliers and vendors in a corporate environment.
  5. Four plus years of experience in recording keeping and data entry.
  6. Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

  1. May be exposed to equipment operational noise, heat, cold, dust, and aircraft equipment odors.
  2. May be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged periods.
  3. Must work in a safe and professional manner, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  4. Must read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  5. Must comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
  6. Must effectively communicate in Business English language.
  7. Must be able to lift or move items up to 10 lbs. and use Company provided equipment to move heavier items.
