Position Overview:

The Residential Support Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the welfare of families and children within our facility. This position involves interacting with families, overseeing communal spaces, and aiding in room evaluations. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a residential or shelter environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with families to foster a supportive atmosphere.
  • Monitor and maintain safety in shared areas.
  • Assist in conducting room inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED; an Associate degree is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • Food Protection Certificate must be obtained within the initial weeks of employment.
  • A valid Driver's License is preferred.
