Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a high-performing bakery team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee daily bakery operations, including inventory management, product preparation, and presentation.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and merchandise presentation.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Business Development
    • Identify opportunities to drive sales growth and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
    • Collaborate with other store teams to promote cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Requirements
  • 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
  • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
