Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive services primarily to BIPOC youth of all genders, ages 10-17, and their families affected by violence, including involvement with the criminal justice system.
  • Support the well-being of youth and families by assisting clients in achieving their goals within a youth development framework.
  • Establish trusting relationships with clients and other service providers.
  • Facilitate goal achievement through coordinated case management and educational support.
  • Provide resources to enhance effective service delivery.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and a client-centered approach.
  • Oversee data entry and reporting to fulfill grant objectives and timelines.
  • Engage in outreach to raise awareness about comprehensive agency services and additional community resources.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, youth development, human services, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in coordinating data management, including client case management and summary reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Google Suite and word processing.
  • Capability to implement effective program evaluations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage individuals and families in services to inspire positive change.
  • Knowledge of violence (including sexual exploitation), complex trauma, cultural and gender diversity, and homelessness.
  • Two years of experience in group facilitation or case management with diverse youth from historically marginalized communities.
  • Willingness to collaborate with a variety of relevant community resources.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DHS fingerprint criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience in social and community services within collaborative or system-change initiatives.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly wage for this position is $23.50.
