About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of fueling infrastructure systems, with a focus on hydrogen and compressed natural gas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fueling infrastructure systems, including hydrogen and compressed natural gas systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members, including project engineers and designers.
  • Participate in HAZOP studies and provide technical inputs.
  • Prepare and modify drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Research and conduct interpretations of drawings, codes, and regulations.
  • Perform calculations to analyze and design fueling-infrastructure subsystems.
  • Support the practice-area principal in developing proposals and estimating work hours.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • California Mechanical-PE license.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working as a mechanical engineer on the design of fluid-process systems.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or in fueling-systems design is an advantage.
What We Offer

Stantec offers a competitive salary range of $115,900 - $173,800, depending on location and experience. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year and are eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year.
