Role Overview: The Operations Lead for Prime Video Trust & Safety will manage a segment of our Austin operations, focusing on multiple Trust & Safety (T&S) initiatives, including global content compliance, regulatory adherence, customer experience enhancement, maturity assessments, and critical T&S projects. This role is pivotal in driving and refining the execution of our core mission while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in engineering, product management, legal, public relations, content operations, and executive leadership to scale operations effectively and innovate the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement operational and business objectives that prioritize customer impact, productivity, precision, and quality.
  • Establish metrics, reporting, and process excellence indicators to ensure effective achievement of goals in essential processes.
  • Define operational and personnel objectives for the team at all levels, ensuring accountability; oversee processes, staffing, metrics, and business updates for the function.
  • Adopt a long-term perspective to create scalable and adaptable processes in response to changes in business scope.
  • Proactively identify tool and system needs that minimize operational errors; prioritize process excellence projects based on impact and benefits.
  • Collaborate with inter-functional teams to optimize processes and drive process excellence alongside Program and Technology teams.
  • Assist in outlining operational requirements to facilitate business launches and manage implementation through partnerships with various teams.
  • Engage with Business teams to collect customer feedback and requirements, developing operational models and workforce planning that align with business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Risk Specialists and Managers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, utilizing data and metrics to craft strategies and implement enhancements.
  • 5+ years of direct supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years of management experience overseeing teams of 25 or more employees.
  • 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally across various geographical regions and internationally.
  • Proven experience in engaging and influencing leadership and key stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience managing global teams of over 100 specialized employees.
  • Expertise in defining product/program roadmaps and requirements.
  • Familiarity with digital video streaming and/or customer-facing user interfaces.
  • Experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation/rating, data labeling, or related compliance fields.
