Key Responsibilities:- Construct and maintain railroad track infrastructure
- Inspect, unload, load, distribute, pick-up, install cross ties, switch ties, and other track material and ballast
- Inspect, patrol, construct, install, retire, remove, surface, gauge, line, and shift track
- Inspect, protect, flag, construct, install, maintain, and repair road crossings
- Inspect, unload, distribute, load, pick-up, install, grind, and transpose rail
- Inspect, dismantle, remove, maintain, repair, and paint station facilities
- 1-3 years working in the rail industry preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Updated background check, drug test, and physical
- The ability to pass basic track rules test
- Continuous mental and visual attention required
- Competitive base wages: $25/hour
- Weekly pay
- 8 to 10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday (with weekend work as scheduled)
- Vacation days + eight paid holidays

Rescar Companies is a privately held company that offers maintenance services to companies that own and/or lease rail rolling stock. Our nationwide network of 40+ service locations in the United States provides maintenance services from fixed facilities or mobile field services centers.
