About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our Downstream Chemical Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing chemical applications and technical support needs for customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with customers by providing account management and understanding their business requirements.
  • Identify, coordinate, and collaborate with team members to drive projects, technical sales, and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers.
  • Develop, deliver, and lead business reviews and technical presentations to customers, executive leadership, and team.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of existing refinery chemical process business for customer accounts, technicians, and account representatives.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with teams and customers.
  • Follow Sales and Service Standards at key customer accounts to ensure compliance.
  • Directly manage a team of employees.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate good experience gained through Industrial, Refining, or Sales experience.
  • Experience of refinery process, finished fuels additive, and treatments.
  • Have a solid understanding of emulsification, corrosion control, fouling control, water treatment, and finished fuel additives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Have the ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Have good communication skills and an aptitude for building customer relationships.
  • Be able to work within a multi-functional team based at one geographical location.
  • Show a basic knowledge of presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Have the ability to perform basic field and lab service and communicate performance vs KPIs.
