Job Title: Guest Services/Front Desk Associate

Swan Lake Resort is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services/Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register and assign rooms to guests, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of guest information.
  • Issue room keys to guests, maintaining accurate key control and security measures.
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions, providing accurate and helpful information to guests.
  • Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning, ensuring efficient and effective housekeeping operations.
  • Arrange restaurant reservations for customers as needed, ensuring seamless and enjoyable dining experiences.
  • Assist guests with booking, changing, and canceling reservations as needed, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Answer phones as necessary, responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Requires standing, walking, and bending throughout shift, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work alone as needed, with ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a busy environment.
  • Ability to remain alert and responsive to guest issues and emergencies, with ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.
